Nichido Ultra Stay Matte Lip Color (shade: Chill Pill)
This is my first liquid lipstick purchase. Another dumb buy because I didn't do any research on this product. I also did not realize that the reason why it was on sale was because they were old stock and were manufactured two years ago (2022).
I wasn't too fond the shade of my first lipstick, the BYS Luxe Lip Ultra Matte Lipstick in Illusion. I wanted something brighter and warmer. I saw Chill Pill and thought it was the perfect shade. I guess I decided to buy it since I thought it was the perfect shade for my personality.
It's a really bright pink. My mom and friend says it suits me very well. After some months, I realize it's more of a party shade than a daily shade. It stands out a lot which isn't really something I want to wear all the time.
It dries to a matte finish that, true to its name, stays on very well. Once it fully sets, it's completely transferproof and I'd need to rub petroleum jelly into it to take it off. It however is not waterproof. I found that having a beverage to sip on wears it out and causes it to flake unpleasantly.
But however long-wearing it is, I hate this lipstick the most for its terrible formula. I don't understand how to apply this. It's a sticky cream that gets into the lips' creases so uncomfortably. The feeling when it dries up in the creases is the worst. It also needs the lips to be dry when you put it on or else it won't set properly and you'll be stuck with sticky lips. Disgusting.
