I wasn't too happy about my first time trying CuCo. It was hard to use and did not last very long.
I heard that nail care increases the life span of manicures so I tried to do that too. I found a small bottle of baby oil at home and used it to moisturize my cuticles and nails and such. Though I was not able to keep up the habit, so I can't really tell if it's effective but whatever.
But I was able to buy Bobbie Base Coat. I applied two layers before putting on CuCo nail polish (which, ta-da! was fixed using the Bobbie Nail Polish Solvent). It's very true since it's been six days and the nail polish on my non-dominant hand are all still intact, while one naked nail and one chipped polish on the other.
It chipped one time, and to my surprise I was able to peel off the whole thing in one piece without damaging my nail. It's probably that solid film which prevents nail polish from chipping. I've observed that in gel polish when I had mine done at a salon— you could peel off the gel in one go. I also see that CuCo has the same gel-like properties but it wasn't as strong without the base coat.
I don't have any pictures; I don't like taking pictures!
