ChapStick Classic Lip Balm (Cherry)

My mom bought me this recently. I've been thinking of getting another Nivea Strawberry Shine lip balm since I've used up the old one my mom let me have. I needed one for to keep my lips moist, but also because there are times when I want to have a bit of a tint on my lips but don't want to be wearing any of my lipsticks since they're not very natural in terms of finish and color.

I forgot to tell my mom that I'm no longer into pinks and that I'm more into reds now. I wish she could've gotten me the strawberry flavored one. The cherry flavored one has a slight pink tint.

I'm actually coming to like ChapStick over Nivea lip balm now. I'm forming a habit putting on so much lip balm because I like the feeling of running it over my lips. The formula is hard enough so I can do it as brashly as I want without having to worry about breaking the stick.

ChapStick doesn't claim to hydrate lips and as far as I know, it's basically the same as petroleum jelly. It's an occlusive like Vaseline meaning it only locks in moisture, but not actually add it, to your skin.

To maintain moist lips, I would apply lip balm every after a meal, a shower or after brushing my teeth. It works well and I never got chapped peely lips ever since I started doing this.
