Cheeks Collection

Blushes
I'm pretty much trying to collect for each type of shade based on distinct "feelings", varied by saturation, lightness and temperature or hue. Obviously I have a shopping problem too because it's not normal to buy a new blush like twice a week or even every month (if you observe their birthdays). I still have a few shades on my wishlist that I don't have yet that I want to buy, but I have to admit I spend to cope with stress too so while I'm trying to build my collection as someone who genuinely loves to dress up, I'm trying not to buy unnecessary additions.
Each blush is sorted into color families and are assigned a generic title that defines their unique role in the blush collective. Once a role has been fulfilled, I shall never buy such shades ever again; basically avoiding blushes that are too similar to those I already have.
I have neglected to state the brand and product names because I don't want to identify them with those names anymore. Here they are one-of-a-kind individuals with unique traits that make them irreplaceable. Seeing them as anything less—as mere products—devalues them, which will turn into excuses for me to buy more.

I never thought purple would be a favorite shade of mine. These are actually purple-leaning shades and I feel like a silly goofball wearing them.

I hated it, tried to sell it, gave it some time then learned how to make it work. I like to pair it with browns.

This is like one of the crazy doll blushes like Cherry Dazzle. The shine is so intense on this.

It's like coloring my face in with a crayon whose rest of the set I lost long ago. I like it a lot.

The rosy brown and the coolish pink, two classic pink shades put together in one.

I found this being sold for an affordable price. It feels really princess-y the way it leans into like a velvet red violent on my skin tone.

They put this beside a picture of a red retro telephone and a few red fruits and I lost my mind. I love red. Had this released earlier, I would have just bought this over funfetti because it has both the muted baby pink I wanted and a neutral red that very slightly leans pink on my face.

It's so beautiful. This is the "benefit tickle" highlighter for me.

It's a warm red base with cool pink shimmers. It looks gray at some angles. It's very dark. Very interesting. I feel like those old porcelain dolls.

Though they may be dark for my skin tone, these shades come off toasty. The "dear" shade is a lovely muted red.
- Lightness: ⯌⯌⯌⯌⯎
- Saturation: ⯌⯌⯎⯎⯎

This is like a non-subtle nude, like I'm trying to hold off the blush but couldn't help myself and put on lots anyway. It has a slight reddish tone.
- Lightness: ⯌⯌⯌⯌⯎
- Saturation: ⯌⯎⯎⯎⯎

This shade is extremely subtle on my face—too subtle. It has a nice texture that I like to play with.
- Lightness: ⯌⯌⯎⯎⯎
- Saturation: ⯌⯌⯌⯌⯎

A really cheap purchase because it was on clearance sale, literally for free except for shipping. The formula isn't very good and I learned that cream blushes are better in pans than in stick form.
Pinks/Peaches (3)

- Saturation: ⯌⯌⯌⯎⯎

I thought this would be the classic pink entry in my collection but it turned out to be a warm pink. I like to play with it, coloring my drawings with it, and it's the first blush I hit pan on from use (not from playing with it).

This is the first blush I ever bought. At that point I didn't know what I really liked in makeup, so I just bought my favorite colors at that time which were warm peachy pinks. Amazing when paired with gold highlighter.
Highlighters & Contour
That's not the actual name of the product but I can't be bothered to check right now. This is sort of an impulse buy but at the same time, a contour and a highlighter have both been on my wishlist for some time. I have settled for other products but decided on the whim that I would get this one because it's in a price-convenient all-in-one palette. I don't think this is my shade but whatever, I like that the shimmer highlighter is pink and that's what I really wanted in a highlighter anyway. Though it's not as blinding as I wanted it to be.
Old and wrecked with a bad formula; I thought I lost this but then I found it still intact somehow. I'll keep it since I like using it to top brown lipstick.
This contains champagne gold, pink and purple highlighters. It's chalky and the pink and purple shades are almost indistinguishable. The shades themselves are cute. I like the golden one.
I use this as a mirror.
This is more like a full face palette containing eyeshadow, blush and highlighter, but I depotted the pans and use most of them as highlighters. The pans I like from it are: its white pearly matte, its beautiful warm silver pink shimmer, its bright gold shimmer, its dark bronze gold shimmer, and its pearly matte base color for eyeshadow (I don't know how to describe this color). It also has two coral and peach eyeshadows and a shimmery coral blush, which I left in the palette and don't really use.
